Service selection in SERVICE mode
To use this function, select DAB MODE in SERVICE mode from the menu
(see section SETTINGS | MENU).
You can scroll through the services of the current multiplex by briefly
pressing one of the buttons on the multifunction switch.
If the first or last service of the current multiplex is skipped, the display
will show <<< or >>>, and when the corresponding button on the
multifunction switch is pressed again, a downward or upward channel
search and playback of the last or first service of the newly found
multiplex will begin.
If you do not want to change the multiplex or do not want to start a
search, press the opposite button when >>> or <<< appears in the
display.
You can start a channel search at any time by pressing and holding down
one of the buttons on the multifunction switch.
If the channel search is active, it cannot be interrupted until the car
radio finds and plays the next multiplex.
Saving/recalling saved services
Favourite services can be stored under the preset stations buttons 1-5.
Five services can be stored at each memory level DAB1, DAB2 and DAB3.
Set up the desired service as described above.
Now press the desired save button for more than one second, a beep will
confirm that the service has been saved. Release the button again after
the beep.
A previously stored service can be recalled by briefly pressing one of the
memory keys 1-5.
Playing available services (SCAN)
Any available service can be played:
To do this, press and hold the SRC button for more than one second.
The car radio will first update the service list and then display SCAN and
the current service.
SCAN continues until the function is cancelled by pressing any button.
Changing the display
By pressing and holding the MENU button, the display can be switched
between different information:
• Service name (station name)
• PTY (programme type)
• Multiplex name (program package)
• Memory space/memory level + channel
• Radio text
• Memory space/memory level + time
The data display function availability depends on the service.
