Basic settings
In the settings menu, you can adjust the basic settings
for the di erent functions of the device to your require-
ments.

쏅 In the main menu, press the Settings button.
The settings menu is displayed, the General sub-
menu is activated.
쏅 Call up the submenus with the buttons in the lower
area of the settings menu.
Video
The following settings are possible:
Aspect ratio – Adjust image format
Video Input – Adjust the colour system of the external
video input
Rear view camera – Adjust back-up camera (if a back-up
camera is connected)
AV-IN 2 mode – If you connect a back-up camera with
audio signal to the AV-IN 2 input of the device, you can
play the camera tone via the loudspeakers of the car
sound system. To do so, enable "Camera".
Parking – When "Parking" is activated, the display of the
device switches to parking mode when parking.
Backcar mode – Select the parking aid (parking radar or
back-up camera) to be shown on the display.
Parking volume – Adjust the volume of the active audio
source while parking.
DivX registration code – Display of the DivX® registra-
tion code
General
The following settings are possible:
Radio region – Select the reception region for the radio
reception.
Background light o – If this value is set, the display of
the radio is completely switched o after 10 or 20 sec.

Dimmer mode – Switching the display brightness be-
tween daytime and nighttime mode.
Dimmer – Setting the display brightness for the day or
the night.
VarioColour – Adjust the illumination colour of the but-
tons.
Beep – Switch con rmation beep on/o
IR remote control – Here you can select whether the re-
mote control should be used to control the source on the
display of the device (front zone) or the source on the
external monitor (rear zone).
Wallpaper – Select the wallpaper for menus. Various mo-
tifs can be selected in the device. You can also select your
own images which you previously stored on the microSD
card.
Calibration – The touchscreen can be calibrated here.
SWC – The buttons of a connected steering wheel con-
trol can be con gured here.
Theft protection – Activate/deactivate the code query.
If the code query is activated, the four-digit code num-
ber must be re-entered every time the device is discon-
nected from the vehicle system voltage (e.g. removal of
the battery for repairs).
Security code – You can change the code number. To
change the code number, enter the four-digit code num-
ber. The code number is set to 0000 at the factory.
Load factory – Resets all personalised settings. With the
exception of the personally selected security code.
Software version – Display of the current software ver-
sion.
