4. 17 Front Panel Calibration Adjustment
Set-up the vetilator in a full circuit including an absorber (See below). Run the ventilaor and
compare the values displayed on the front panel of the ventilator with the values displayed by the
calibration analyser.

If adjustment of the displayed Vte, Vti and Peak pressure is required the calibration values can
be adjusted by pressing the save key and selecting configuration then setup, enter the password
PRAAA. This disables the alarms and replaces the alarm panel with a new menu. (See
below).
Changing the gain factor in the Vol box effects both Vti & Vte. Once Vte is satisfactory the
Ratio of Vti to Vte can be adjusted by changing the ratio value. The peak pressure value is adjusted
by changing the value in the P.High Box and the zero pressure value is adjusted by changing the
value in the P.Zero box.
