Why are my Blizzard Automobile Accessories snowplow functions so slow, even though the pump runs?

If your Blizzard Automobile Accessories pump runs but the snowplow functions are slow, it could be due to several reasons. Check if the fluid level in the pump reservoir is low and add fluid to within 3/4" from the top of the tank, while also checking for leaks around the pump, manifold, and cylinders. Another cause might be low amperage from the vehicle's alternator; in this case, repair or replace the alternator, noting that the system amperage draw is 65A at 1500 psi. Lastly, the pump filter may be clogged, requiring you to remove the pump tank and thoroughly clean the filter.
