How to prevent flare-ups on my Blue Rhino GBC1932L Grill?
    • J
      Joseph BurnsAug 16, 2025
Flare-ups on your Blue Rhino Grill can occur due to grease buildup. To resolve this, remove and clean all grill parts. Additionally, excess fat in the meat can cause flare-ups, so trim the fat before grilling. Finally, excessive cooking temperatures can also lead to flare-ups, so adjust to a lower cooking temperature.

Why won't the burner light using the igniter on my Blue Rhino GBC1932L?
    • J
      john38Aug 19, 2025
If the burner on your Blue Rhino Grill won't light with the igniter, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the LP gas tank valve is open and the regulator is securely attached. If the tank is low or empty, replace or refill it. If you smell gas, turn the LP gas tank valve to “CLOSED”, wait 5 minutes, and then follow the leak checking procedure. Also, inspect the wires and electrode for cooking residue and clean them with rubbing alcohol if needed. If the electrode and burners are wet, wipe them dry with a cloth. For cracked or broken electrodes, loose or disconnected wires, shorting wires, or a bad igniter, replacement parts may be needed, and you should contact Customer Care at 1.800.694.0013.

What to do if the burner won't light with a match on my Blue Rhino Grill?
    • J
      jessicathompsonAug 22, 2025
If the burner on your Blue Rhino Grill won't light with a match, there could be a few reasons. Check if the LP gas tank is empty and exchange, refill, or replace it if needed. If the tank isn't empty, there might be an obstruction of gas flow; clear the burner/venturi tube and check for any bent or kinked hoses. Also, make sure the coupling nut and regulator are fully connected by hand-tightening them until you reach a solid stop. Ensure the burner is properly engaged with the valve, and clean the burner/venturi tube to remove any spider webs or insect nests. Finally, clean any clogged or blocked burner ports.

Why is there a sudden drop in gas flow on my Blue Rhino GBC1932L Grill?
    • K
      Kelly PhillipsAug 26, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height in your Blue Rhino Grill can happen for a couple of reasons. You might be out of gas, so exchange, refill, or replace the LP gas tank. Alternatively, the overfilling prevention device may have been activated. To reset it, turn the control knobs to “ OFF”, wait 30 seconds, and try lighting the grill again. If the flames are still low, turn the control knob(s) “ OFF”, turn the LP gas tank valve to “CLOSED”, disconnect the regulator, turn the control knobs to (HIGH), wait 1 minute, turn the control knobs to “ OFF”, reconnect the regulator, check for leaks, and then light the grill.

What to do if the flame keeps going out on my Blue Rhino GBC1932L Grill?
    • W
      William GarciaAug 28, 2025
If the flame on your Blue Rhino Grill goes out, it could be due to high or gusting winds; avoid using the grill in such conditions. Another reason could be that you're low on LP Gas, so exchange, refill, or replace the LP gas tank. Also, the overfilling prevention device may have been activated; refer to the section on “Sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height”.

Why is the flame yellow or orange on my Blue Rhino GBC1932L?
    • M
      matthewfranklinAug 30, 2025
A yellow or orange flame on your Blue Rhino Grill can be due to several factors. If it's a new burner, it may have residual manufacturing oils; burn the grill for 15 minutes on (HIGH) with the lid closed. Spider webs or insect nests in the venturi can also cause this issue, so clean the venturi. Food residue or grease on the burners could be another cause, so clean the burner. Lastly, poor alignment of the valve to the burner/venturi tube can result in a yellow or orange flame; ensure the burner/venturi tube is properly engaged with the valve.

What to do about a persistent grease fire in my Blue Rhino GBC1932L?
    • K
      karen83Sep 3, 2025
If you have a persistent grease fire in your Blue Rhino Grill, it's likely due to grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. To address this, turn the control knobs to “ OFF” and the LP gas tank valve to “CLOSED”. Leave the lid closed and let the fire burn out. After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts.

How to fix an irregular flame pattern on my Blue Rhino Grill?
    • J
      James MoyerSep 6, 2025
An irregular flame pattern on your Blue Rhino Grill, where the flame doesn't run the full length of the burner, is likely due to clogged or blocked burner ports. Clean the burner ports to resolve this issue.

What causes flashback in the burner tubes of my Blue Rhino GBC1932L?
    • M
      Michael SimpsonSep 9, 2025
Flashback, or fire in the burner tubes of your Blue Rhino Grill, indicates that the burner and/or burner/venturi tube are blocked. Clean the burners and/or burner/venturi tube.

Why is the inside of my Blue Rhino GBC1932L lid peeling?
    • T
      Tammie ChambersSep 12, 2025
If the inside of the lid of your Blue Rhino Grill is peeling, it's likely due to baked-on grease buildup that has turned to carbon and is flaking off. Clean all grill parts.
