6-1. Filter functions
Stage 1: External Pre-Filter (Optional)
This acts as the first line of defense to remove visible suspended solids from tap water.
Stage 2: Pre-Carbon Filter
This carbon filter efficiently reduces chlorine and organic chemicals through an adsorption
process and protects the membrane.
Stage 3: Sediment Filter
This efficiently removes fine suspended particles.
Stage 4: RO Membrane
This removes dissolved solids and other impurities using a semi-permeable membrane
(0.0001μm pore size, 1/1,000,000 of hair) to ensure safe drinking water.
Stage 5: Post-Carbon Filter with ATB
This removes dissolved gases and odours to improve water taste. It is equipped with
specially designed Aqua Taste Booster which enhances the taste and helps maintain
optimum pH level of water, thus enriching your experience of drinking water.
Stage 6: UV Lamp* / UF Membrane

Ultra Violet (UV) Lamp destroys microbes (bacteria, virus and protozoa) by UV exposure.
Ultra Filtration (UF) is a separation process that uses a semi-permeable membrane. UF
membrane filters out physical impurities as well as harmful microbes like bacteria and
cysts from drinking water.
