Important Safety Instructions
• Liability insurance in the form of a valid insurance sticker on the vehicle is mandatory.
• The e-scooter may only be used on public roads by people over the age of 14.
• In the context of private use, on non-public premises, people under the age of 14 must be
supervised by an adult.
• Permitted maximum speed: 20 km / h.
• Can only be used by one person at any time.
• Transporting people or towing a trailer is not permitted!
• Brakes, lighting and sound signals are mandatory on the e-scooter.
• Before starting the journey, the user must ensure that the technical equipment is fully
functional, the vehicle is not damaged, all parts of the e-scooter are rmly secured and the
steering setting is correct.
• As a participant in road traic, the regulations of the Road Traic Act (StVo) must be
followed. The guidelines that also apply to cyclists, equally apply as restrictions for small
electric vehicles.
• Do not use this device under the inuence of alcohol, or taken drugs or medication.
• DO NOT RIDE the E-scooter on the sidewalk, in the pedestrian zone, in one-way streets
against the direction of travel and on the wrong side of the street.
• E-scooters are allowed to use bike paths and areas marked for cyclists in urban areas. If
these are not available, the road may be used. Outside of built-up areas, only xed cycle
paths may be used.
• Distractions or hazards while driving, e.g. loud music, phone calls or hands-free driving are
prohibited.
The IX500 has a general operating license (ABE: P151) for Germany and
can therefore be used on public roads.
• Please note that the following guidelines meet the requirements of the German road traic
regulations.
• It is your responsibility to nd out which guidelines apply in the country in which you want
to use the e-scooter. Make sure that you do not violate any applicable traic regulations
and only use the e-scooter where it is permitted.
