This chapter describes equipment, systems and
functions which are offered or will be offered on
a model-specific basis, even if they are not inclu‐
ded in the vehicle in question.

elephone functions
General
Mobile phones can be connected to the vehicle
using Bluetooth.
At high temperatures, the charging function of
the mobile phone may be restricted and func‐
tions may no longer work.
To avoid malfunctions, do not operate a mobile
phone from its keypad when it is connected to
the vehicle.
When using the mobile phone via the vehicle, fol‐
low the phone's operating instructions.

Safety note
WARNING
Operating integrated information systems and
communication devices during a journey may
distract you from the road. You could lose con‐
trol of the vehicle. There is a risk of accident.
Only operate the systems or devices if the traf‐
fic conditions allow you to do so. Stop if neces‐
sary and operate the systems or devices with
the vehicle at a standstill.
Incoming call
If the caller's number is stored in the phone book
and is transferred by the network, the name of
the contact is displayed. Otherwise, only the
phone number is displayed.
Press the volume knurled wheel to suppress the
ring tone in the vehicle for an incoming call.
Accepting a call
Incoming calls can be accepted in different ways.

▷ Use the knurled wheel on the steering wheel
to select from the list in the instrument clus‐
ter: "Accept"
Rejecting a call

Ending a call
