Removal And Installation (Cont'd)
Remove the grease fitting at the pivot pins [A).
NOTE: The grease
fitting
at
the
pivot
pin
must
be
removed, because the grease can cause a
lock
and
the
pivot
pin
cannot
be removed
from
the
BoRr
Tach frame.
Put a
rag
over the grease fitting hole.
Hit the bolt to start the pivot pin into the Bob-Tach frame
[B).
Remove the bolt and use a punch to push the pivot pin into
the Bob-Tach frame.
Repeat the above procedure for the other side.
Installation: Use a small diameter punch through the
grease fitting hole to push the pivot pin into the lift arms.
Remove the Bob-Tach from the lift arms.
Remove the Bob-Tach pivot pins [C).
Tilt Cylinder Rod End Seal
After the Bob-Tach is installed on the lift arms, use this
procedure to install the rod end seals.
Lift the Bob-Tach with a floor jack
[0).
