Disassembly And Assembly (Cont'd)
Put the wedge and lever assembly in the vise.
Remove the
bolt at the lever [AJ.
Assemble: Tighten the bolt to 25-28 ft. -Ibs. (34-38 Nm)
torque.
Remove the
block from the wedge bolt [B).
Assemble: Turn the block down until there is 6.390" (162
mm) from the center of the
hole to the top of the wedge
spring seat (8).
Remove the nut and the spring from the bolt [C).
Remove the
plastic guides from the Bob--Tach frame [0). 0
Clean and inspect all the parts for wear and damage,
replace the parts as needed.
