  If your BodyTrace Scales aren't turning on when you step on the platform and the display remains off, the batteries may be completely drained. Replace them with new Duracell AA batteries. Alternatively, the batteries might be inserted incorrectly. Remove them and reinstall, ensuring the + and - polarity symbols on the batteries align with the markings inside the battery compartment.
