CHARGING AND MAINTAINING THE BATTERY
Charging procedure
1) Always check before charging the battery if the indicated rated output voltage of the charger
matches the battery voltage. Also check if the charger input voltage matches the power
supply voltage.
2) When you need to charge the battery, place the charger at a ventilated location and connect
the charger to the charging port, then connect the charger to the power supply. Check if the
wire plug is correctly connected to the power supply.
3) The charger indicator turns green, indicating that the battery is completely charged. If the
battery is completely discharged it can take 3-4 hours (max. 6 hours) to recharge the battery
completely.
4) After charging the battery, first disconnect the plug from the power supply, then you
disconnect the charger from the charger port. Warning: never leave the charger connected
to the power supply if it is not charging.
Battery maintenance:
Do not overcharge the lithium battery, immediately disconnect the charger from the power supply as
soon as the indicator turns green.
1) Do not place anything on the battery or charger while charging, this may cause the charger or
battery to overheat, risking severe material and personal damages. Always use the original
charger, not doing so, will render the warranty null and void.
2) You can charge the battery as soon as it runs low, otherwise it will reduce its performance
and lifespan. By using the battery in a correct way, it will have a capacity of at least 80%.
However, eventually the battery performance will reduce and will need to be replaced.
3) To extend its lifespan keep the battery stored in a dry and cool place at a temperature
between -10°C - 20°C, avoiding direct sunlight. Charge the battery every 30 days, when you
are not using it for a longer period.
4) Do not short circuit the battery on purpose, this will cause severe material and personal
damage. All damages caused by misuse will render the warranty null and void.
5) Do not throw away the battery with normal household rubbish. Take it to your council waste
disposal service to be recycled.
6) If you have any further questions about the use, maintenance, storage or disposal of the
battery, please contact our customer service.
