How to troubleshoot a Bolens Tiller that won't start?

If your Bolens Tiller engine won't start, there are several potential causes: * The spark plug wire might be disconnected, so reconnect it. * The engine throttle control lever might be incorrectly set; put the lever in the START position. * The fuel tank could be empty; add fuel. * You might have stale gasoline; drain the old fuel and add fresh fuel. * The air filter(s) might be dirty; clean or replace the filter(s). * The spark plug might be defective or incorrectly gapped; inspect the spark plug. For issues with the choke control, carburetor, throttle control, or dirt/water in the fuel tank, consult an Engine Service Dealer or the Engine Owner’s Manual.
