4.6 Tamper foot plate

Retighten the screws (Fig. 1).
4.7 Checking the oil level in the
tamper foot
Stand the tamper on level ground and let it rest
for while, to allow all oil to run down into the
housing.

Clean the inspection glass (Fig. 2).
•
Check the oil level, it must reach the middle of
the inspection glass. Top up oil if necessary.
For quality of oil refer to the paragraph on
fuels and lubricants.
