Frequency Measurement
1. Set the funcon switch to the required “Hz Duty” posion.
2. Connect the black test lead to the “COM” jack.
3. The red to the “INPUT” jack (Note: The polarity of the red test lead is posive “+”).
4. Read the reading on the display
Note: Do not apply more than 250V RMS to the input. Indicaon is possible a voltage higher than 100V rms, but reading maybe out of specicaon.
No-contact Voltage Test
1. Set the funcon switch to the NCV range
2. Press NCV buon and hold
3. If the detected object in the state of power,the light in front of meter will ash,the built-in buzzer will sound
Note: Before use, verify operaon by tesng a known working circuit,or will get a false result.
Baery Measurement
1. Connect the black test lead to the“COM” jack and the red test lead to the“lNPUT” jack (Note: the polarity of the red test lead is posive“+”).
2. According to the dierent type of the baery (1.5V, 3V, 9V) to be tested, set the funcon switch to the desired baery range.
3. Connect the test leads to the baery to be tested.
4. Read the reading on the display. The polarity of the red test lead connecon will be indicated.
Auto Power O
If you don’t operate the meter for about 15 minutes, it will turn o automacally. To turn on it again, just rotate the funcon switch or Press "Select"or
"Range" buon for more than 2 seconds. If you cancel the Auto power o funcon, press the "Hz/Duty" buon at same me to rotate funcon switch, and
the symbol 'APO' on the display will disappear.
Baery Replacement
If the sign “
” appear on the display, it indicates baery should be replaced. Remove screws and open the back case, replace the exhausted baery with
new baeries (9V 1604, 6F22 or equivalent)
Fuse Replacement
Fuse rarely needs replacement and is blown almost always as a result of operator’s error. To replace the fuses, open the baery cover, replace the damaged
fuse with a new fuse of the specied rangs. Reinstall the baery cover and lock this cover.
This meter uses two fuses:
Fuse1: 400mA, 600V, FAST, Min. Interrupt Rang 20000A, Ø10X38mm
Fuse 2: 10A, 600V, FAST, Min. Interrupt Rang 20000A, Ø10X38mm
