10.2 Parallel unit applications
Two Bosch water heaters plumbed in parallel will have
double the ow rate. However, the activation rate
increases with each unit added in parallel.
Example:
1 unit - 0.5 GPM activation rate
2 units - 1.0 GPM activation rate
3 units - 1.5 GPM activation rate
NOTICE:
Use the Intelligent Cascading Kit only if low activation flows are
desired, and if it doesn't matter if full flow is not available
instantly. If the application demands higher flow rates more
quickly, do not install the Intelligent Cascading Kit.
If the Intelligent Cascading Kit is used the minimum activation
flow rate is equal to the activation flow rate of a single unit.
Optional Cascade Kit
Applicable models: Bosch 830 ES, 940 ES, 940 ESO,
C 950 ES, C 1050 ES, C 1210 ES.
