f Switch the receiver station and the hand
microphone on (see the "Switching on and
off" section).
Note:
Briefly press the channel selection
button 5 or 7 to get a display of
the channel that is currently set.
To switch into the channel selection mode,
f Press the channel selection button 5 or
7 for about 2 seconds.
The dot next to the currently selected channel
displayed flashes on the display 1 or 6.
f Press the channel selection button 5 or
7 as many times as necessary until the
desired channel is displayed.
Note:
You can also hold the channel
selection button 5 or 7 down in
order to change continuously to the
next channel. Release the channel
selection button 5 or 7 as soon as
the desired channel is displayed.
Whatever channel is displayed will automati-
cally be set after 4 seconds without pressing
any more buttons. Channel selection mode is
closed.
Adjusting the volume
You can adjust the volume with which micro-
phone announcements are played at the
receiver station:
f Turn the volume control 4 clockwise
(louder) or anticlockwise (quieter).
Switching on/off
Receiver station
The receiver station automatically switches
itself on and off with the vehicle ignition.
After being switched on, the currently selected
channel is shown briefly on the display 1.
After being switched on, the receiver station
automatically attempts to connect to the hand
microphone. As soon as the connection has
been established, the red LED 2 is lit
continuously.
Note:
The hand microphone can only be
connected
f If it is switched on (see next
section).
f If the receiver station and the
hand microphone are set to the
same channel (see the "Setting
the channel" section).
Note:
The green LED 3 flashes while the
receiver station is receiving audio
signals from the hand microphone.
Hand microphone
To switch on or off,
f Press the on/off button : button for
approx. 2 seconds.
The currently selected channel is shown briefly
on the display 6. If the hand microphone is
