The power tool is intended for impact drilling in brick, concrete and stone, as well as for drilling in wood, metal, ceramic and plastic.

Noise/Vibration Information

Typically, the A-weighted noise level is 91 dB(A) sound pressure level. Wear hearing protection!

Assembly

Pull the plug out of the socket before carrying out any work. Implement additional safety measures to protect the operator.

Auxiliary Handle (See Figure A)

Do not operate without the auxiliary handle (8). Adjust to any of 12 positions for a safe work posture.

Setting the Drilling Depth (See Figure A)

Use the depth stop (9) to set the required drilling depth X. Ensure fluting faces downwards.

Operation

Starting Operation

Pay attention to mains voltage. Power tools marked 230 V can operate with 220 V.

Setting the Rotational Direction (See Figure C)

Use switch (7) to change direction. Not possible while switch (6) is pressed.

Setting the Operating Mode

Set selector switch (4) to 'drilling' or 'impact drilling' symbol. Switch clicks into place.

Switching On/Off

Press and hold switch (6) to start. Use lock-on button (5) to lock. Release switch (6) to stop.

Adjusting the Speed/Impact Rate

Adjust speed/impact rate by varying pressure on switch (6). Light pressure = low speed.

Practical Advice

Pull plug before work. Apply tool to screw/nut when off. Operate at max speed to cool down.
