4 Wiring
1. Connect the shield wires to the screw terminal (11, page 000, step1).
2. Fasten the cables with cable ties (11, page 000, step1 to 4).
The Remote Keypad has
– 2 CAN interfaces (CAN1/CAN2) for networking
– 2 Ethernet interfaces (ETH1/ETH2) for networking
– 2 signal inputs (IN1/IN2)
– 1 USB and 1 RS232 interface
Consider the maximum cable length of 2m when using the USB and RS232 interfaces (see 10,
page 000).

Caution!
If Ethernet networking is planned, the Remote Keypad must be grounded.
Address Setting and Configuration
1. Assign a unique physical address to each Panel Controller and Remote Keypad by setting
the rotary switches and write it down on the label (see 13, page 000, step1 and 2).
2. For configuration, set the 6-pin DIP switch (see 13, page 000, step3).
3. Mark the setting on the provided label (step4).
