Application Table
The following table should be used only as a recom-
mendation.
The most suitable combination for the work to be per-
formed is best determined by practical trials.
Polishing (GEX 270 AE)
For polishing, fit the eccentric sander with an appropri-
ate polishing tool.
Select a low speed for polishing (step 1–2) to
avoid excessive heating of the surface.
Apply polishing agent crosswise or in a circular motion
with a sponge and moderate pressure and then allow
to dry lightly.
Polish the partially dried polishing agent with cross-
wise or circular motions using a lamb’s wool polishing
bonnet.
Cleaning the polishing tools.
It is recommended to wash the polishing tools with a
mild detergent and warm water (do not use paint thin-
ning agents).

Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
power plug.

For safe and efficient working, always keep the ma-
chine and the ventilation slots clean.
WARNING
Important instructions for connecting a new
three-pin plug to the two-wire cable.
The wires in the cable are colored according to the fol-
lowing code:
Do
not
connect the blue or brown wire to the ground
terminal of the plug.
Important:
If for any reason the plug is cut off the ca-
ble of this machine, it should be disposed of to prevent
misuse.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in
manufacture and testing, the repair should be per-
formed by an authorized customer services location
for Bosch power tools.
For all correspondence and spare parts orders, always
include the 10-digit order number from the nameplate
of the machine.
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing as
waste.
The machine, accessories and packaging should be
sorted for environment-friendly recycling.
These instructions are printed on recycling paper man-
ufactured without chlorine.
The plastic components are labeled for categorized
recycling.
