Working safely with this machine
is possible only when the operat-
ing and safety information are
read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are
strictly followed. In addition, the
general safety instructions in the enclosed
booklet must be followed. Before using for the
first time, ask for a practical demonstration.
Before each use of the machine,
check the cable and plug. If dam-
age is detected, do not use the
machine. Have repairs performed
only by a qualified technician.
Never open the machine your-
self.
■ Insert the mains plug only when the machine is
switched off.
■ During pauses in the work, when not in use or
during work on the machine itself (e.g., chang-
ing of the working tools, repairs, cleaning, ad-
justment), pull the mains plug.
■ Do not carry the machine by the cable.
■ Always direct the cable to the rear away from
the machine.
■ Secure your workpiece with clamps.
■ Be careful when screwing in long screws; dan-
ger of sliding off.
■ Place the machine on the screw/nut only when
switched off.
■ Bosch can assure flawless functioning of the
machine only when original accessories are
used.
