4.2.3 Setting Temperature Offsets
In some cases, it may be necessary to adjust the oven temperature if
the customer reports that food is consistently under- or over-cooked,
even though the oven is operating normally. Temperature Offsets can
be entered by the customer from the Customer Settings menu to raise
or lower the cavity temperature during operation in modes other than
Broil, Convection Broil, Warm, Pizza or Self-clean.
The allowable Offset range is from 0°F to 35°F, positive or negative.
1. Access the Customer Settings Menu (from stand-by mode
only)
Single Ovens: Press Clock and + for 3 seconds
Double Ovens: Press Upper Oven and Timer
2. Press Clock to move through the menu until the Offset menu
option is displayed.
Non-convection Single Ovens: S5
Non-convection Double Ovens: S5 (upper) / S6 (lower)
Convection Single Ovens: S6
Convection Double Ovens: S6 (upper) / S7 (lower)
3. Press + or to change the setting value; holding either button
for more than 1 second will increment/decrement the value by
1 degree every 500 ms until the upper/lower limit is reached.
4. Press Clock to save the value.
5. Press Clear or turn one of the switches to exit the menu
Example: A +25° offset will result in a cavity temperature of 35
when the cooking temperature is set to 325° for any of the cooking
modes affected by the Offset. Similarly, a -25° offset will result in a
NOTICE
When the Temperature Offset menu selection is reached, the current
offset value will not be displayed.
