Before using the appliance for the first time
1. Take out the information material and remove the
adhesive
tape and protective foil.
2. Clean the appliance.

Electrical connections
Caution!
Do not connect the appliance to electronic
energy-saving power sockets.
Note: You can connect the appliance to phase or
sine-wave commutated power inverters.
Phase-commutated inverters are used with photovoltaic
systems that have a direct connection to the mains
power grid. With standalone set-ups, you must use
sine-wave commutated power inverters. Standalone
set-ups, e.g. on ships or in mountain huts, do not have a
direct connection to the mains power grid.
1. After setting up the appliance wait at least 1 hour
before connecting it in
order to avoid damage to the
compressor.
2. Connect the appliance to correctly installed power
out
let socket.
The power outlet socket must match
the following
specificat
ions:
Outside Europe: check whether the specified power
rating of the appliance matches your power supply.
Details of the appliance rating can be found on the
rating plate.

3. Connect the appliance to a power socket close to the
applia
nce.
The power outlet socket must also remain
easily
accessi
ble after the appliance has been installed.
