The appliance can only be used safely if correctly installed. The installer ensures it works perfectly at its installation location.
Installation must conform to Manufacturer's Instructions, Local Gas Fitting Regulations, Municipal Building Codes, AS/NZS 5601.1, S.A.A. Wiring Code, Local Electrical Regulations.
Built-in cooktops are inserted into a worktop cutout. Make a cut-out in the worktop with the required dimensions.
Observe local supplier conditions. Consider supply connection position. Connect to gas supply with an isolation valve in accordance with regulations.
Fit seal and R 1/2 piece to appliance gas connection. Fit regulator (N.G.) or test point (LPG) directly to R 1/2 piece.
Automatic ignition. If burner doesn't ignite in 10s, turn off, open window. Wait 1 min before re-igniting. Risk of fire.
Rectify minor faults yourself. Read troubleshooting before contacting after-sales service to avoid unnecessary costs. Improper repairs are dangerous.
