1.7 Conversion tables
In this manual, SI units are used to express lengths,
masses, temperatures etc. These can be converted to
non-metric units using the following information.
table 1.1: Conversion of units of length
1 in = 25.4 mm 1 mm = 0.03937 in
1 in = 2.54 cm 1 cm = 0.3937 in
1 ft = 0.3048 m 1 m = 3.281 ft
1 mi = 1.609 km 1 km = 0.622 mi
