Setting the fan
Switching on
■ Pull out the filter pull-out and touch the % symbol.
The fan will start at setting 2.
■ Select the fan settings.
Note: When the filter pull-out is pushed in, only fan
settings 1, 2 and 3 can be selected.
Switching off
Touch the % symbol. Slide in the filter pull-out.
Intensive setting
You can use the intensive setting if there is a large
build-up of odours and fumes/vapours.
Touch the C or D symbol.
After approximately six minutes, the electronics
automatically reduce the fan to a lower setting . If you
want to end the intensive setting before the preset time
expires, touch the symbol for the required fan setting.
Fan run-on time
Touch the y symbol or slide in the filter pull-out while
the extractor hood is operating.
After approximately 10 minutes, the fan will switch off
automatically.
Automatic mode
Switching on
■ Touch the # symbol.
The fan starts at setting 2.
■ Touch the > symbol.
The optimum fan setting 1, 2 or 3 is automatically
set via a sensor.
Switching off
Touch # or any fan setting to switch off automatic
mode.
The fan switches off automatically if the sensor no
longer detects a change in the air quality of the room.
Automatic mode can run for a maximum of four hours.
Sensor control
In automatic mode, a sensor on the extractor hood
detects the intensity of the kitchen steam. Depending
on the sensor setting, the extractor hood automatically
switches to another fan setting.
Default setting: Setting „ (fan setting 3)
Lowest setting: Setting ‚ (fan setting 1)
Highest setting: Setting † (fan setting D)
If the sensor control responds too quickly or too slowly,
it can be changed accordingly:
1. Press and hold the > symbol for four seconds when
the fan is switched off. The setting is displayed.
2. The sensor control setting can be changed by
touching symbol 1, 2, 3, or the C or D
symbol.
3. To confirm the entries, press and hold the > symbol
for four seconds.
