3. fusing
Any loudspeaker ia ei^tect to damage if the amplifier
powering it should fail. The use of a fasl*actir>g fuse in
series with each speaker will minimize the possibility of
serious damage to your speaker.
for amplifiers rated at urtder 100 walls rms per channel,
no fusing Is reguired. Amplifiers rated over 100 watts per
channel should be fused with a fasi-biow. 3^mp fuse
Purchase fuseholders and the appropriate fast*acting fuses.
Connect the fusehoiders in series with the positive wire
going to each speaker, placing the fuse in an easily accas*
sibie locafion.
Referring to the speaker connecfion diagram, the fuse-
holders should be inserted in the positive wire connecting
each ^akar. 6a sure to place the fuse in an easily acces¬
sible location. BOSE Corporation recommends use of a 3*
empere. fast-acting Buss AGO Series or Linelfuse AG
Series. A fuse kit containing fuses and holders can be
obtained from BOSE Customer Service Department for
