It offers two independent channels—MIC/INSTRUMENT and GUITAR/MIC—each with its own set of controls for equalization, effects, and volume, allowing for a wide range of performance setups. The CUBE Street II features a MIC/INSTRUMENT Channel with a 3-band equalizer ([BASS], [MIDDLE], [TREBLE] knobs) to shape the sound of your microphone, acoustic guitar, or keyboard. A [REVERB] knob adjusts the depth of the reverb effect for added spaciousness. The [SELECT] switch allows you to optimize the input for either a microphone ("MIC") or an instrument ("INST"). A [VOLUME] knob controls the overall output of this channel.
A unique feature of the MIC/INSTRUMENT channel is the HARMONY function. The [HARMONY] knob enables harmony effects, offering types like UNISON (sounds like someone else singing the same melody), HIGH (adds upper fourths and thirds), and HIGHER (adds sixths and fifths). The [KEY] button sets the key for the harmony, which can be done automatically based on chords played or manually selected.
The GUITAR/MIC Channel is designed for electric guitars, acoustic guitars, or microphones. It includes a [TUNER] button for convenient guitar tuning. Common to Both Channels is the [i-CUBE LINK/AUX IN] knob, which adjusts the audio volume from the i-CUBE LINK/AUX IN jack, USB port, and Bluetooth® (with optional BT-DUAL adaptor). The [OUTPUT POWER] switch allows you to choose between MAX (louder volume, shorter battery life) and ECO (reduced volume, longer battery life) modes, optimizing for either power or endurance. The main [POWER] switch turns the unit on and off.
The CUBE Street II also integrates a LOOPER function, allowing you to record up to 90 seconds of audio (mono) and layer additional performances (overdubbing). Footswitch control (with optional BOSS FS-5U, FS-6, or FS-7) enhances live performance, allowing hands-free operation of the looper, chorus/delay, harmony, and reverb effects.
