If your Boss Log Splitter isn't splitting logs, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the log is correctly positioned according to the Operation section. The log might be too large or hard for the machine's capacity, in which case you should reduce its size. A blunt wedge cutting edge could also be the problem, so refer to the Maintenance section for instructions on sharpening it. Other potential issues include insufficient hydraulic oil, which may require you to locate any leaks, or using an extension cable with insufficient A.W.G., which means you should change to a cable of higher A.W.G.
