Battery charger
The battery pack for this tool is supplied in a low charge condition to prevent to
possible problems, therefore, you have to charge the battery before first use.

Charge battery pack only with the charger provided!(Fig.2-1)
Makesurethatthepowersupplyis230VoltsAC/50Hz.
Connect the charger to the power supply, the red light is on. Attach the battery
pack(6) to the charger (9) by aligning the raised ribs on battery pack (6) with
grooves in charger, then slide battery pack (6) onto the charger.
When the battery pack is charging, the yellow light will flash. When the battery is
fully charged the red, yellow and the green LED are all light.
For battery pack the charging time after normal use is about 1 hour to be fully
charged.
The battery pack will become slightly warm while charging. This is normal and
does not indicate a problem.
Donotplacechargerinanareaofextremeheatorcold.Itwillworkbestat
normal room temperature.
When the battery becomes fully charged, unplug your charger from the ower
supply and remove the battery pack from the charger.
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to the battery pack, remove the battery pack immediately
from the charger when no LED lights. Return battery pack and charger to your
dealer for checking or replacing.
Do not insert a battery pack into a damaged charger, it may damage your bat-
tery pack.

Lock the switch trigger on the drill by placeing the forward/reverse knob in its
centerposition.Placethebatterypackinthedrill.Aligntheraisedribonbattery
packwiththegrooveinsidethedrill.(Makesurethelatchesyourbatterypack
snap in place and battery pack is secured in the drill before beginning operation.)
TOREMOVEBATTERYPACK
Lock the switch trigger on the drill by placing the forward/reverse selector in its
center position.(Fig.3) to depress the battery pack release button to release the
battery pack from the drill.
ON/OFF SWITCH (Fig.4)
To turn your drill ON, depress the switch trigger. To turn it OFF, release the
switch trigger.
