Start-Up Procedure
Flush the MEGAbite filter with water: Locate the nearest cold water faucet tap and open
it. If there is a water softener installed downstream of the MEGAbite, close its bypass valve
until this step is completed. Slowly open MEGAbite bypass valve and let water run to the
open faucet tap until it runs clear. This will flush any media residual from the filter and pre-
pare the unit for service. Re-open water softener bypass (if installed).
Proceed to setting current time of day.

While in service, the Data Display alternates between time of day,
volume remaining or days to regeneration.
The Flow Indicator flashes when outlet flow is detected.
The Faucet Icon flashes if a regeneration cycle has been queued.
