What to do if cleaning does not start when pressing the start button on my Braun Electric Shaver?
    • N
      Noah FlynnAug 14, 2025
If the cleaning cycle doesn't start when you press the start button on your Braun Electric Shaver's Clean&Renew station, make sure the shaver is placed properly in the station, ensuring the contacts align. If the display lights red, insert a new cleaning cartridge. If the appliance is in stand-by mode, press the start button again.

What to do if my Braun Electric Shaver shaving system is still wet after cleaning program has been completed?
    • D
      Douglas MartinezAug 17, 2025
If the shaving system of your Braun Electric Shaver remains wet after the cleaning program, it could be due to a clogged drain in the Clean&Renew station. Clean the drain with a wooden toothpick and regularly wipe the tub clean. Alternatively, the cleaning cartridge may have been used for too long, decreasing the alcohol proportion and increasing the oil proportion. Remove residue with a cloth.

Why has my Braun Electric Shaver shaving performance dropped significantly?
    • J
      John StarkAug 21, 2025
A drop in shaving performance of your Braun Electric Shaver can occur if the foil and cutter are worn, so you should renew the foil & cutter cassette. For a thorough and fast shave we recommend the green (intensive) setting. Another possible reason is that the shaving system is clogged. In this case, soak the foil & cutter cassette into hot water with a drop of dish liquid, then rinse it properly and tap it out. Once dry, apply a drop of light machine oil on the foil.

What to do if my Braun 790cc-7 LDE turns off with fully charged battery?
    • J
      jesse83Aug 25, 2025
If your Braun Electric Shaver turns off even with a fully charged battery, it's likely that the foil and cutter are worn, requiring more power than the motor can provide. To resolve this, renew the foil & cutter cassette and regularly oil the shaving system, especially when cleaning with water only.

Why is my Braun 790cc-7 LDE battery performance dropped significantly?
    • K
      Kathleen MccoyAug 27, 2025
A significant drop in your Braun Electric Shaver's battery performance may be because the foil and cutter are worn, which increases power consumption for each shave. Renew the foil & cutter cassette. Also, if you regularly clean the shaver head with water but don't lubricate it, apply a drop of light machine oil on top of the foil once a week for lubrication.

Why does my Braun 790cc-7 LDE have an unpleasant smell from the shaver head?
    • Y
      yvegaAug 30, 2025
An unpleasant smell from your Braun Electric Shaver head can occur if it's cleaned with water improperly. When cleaning the shaver head with water, use only hot water and occasionally some liquid soap (without abrasive substances). Remove the foil & cutter cassette to let it dry. Also, ensure you change the cleaning cartridge at least every 8 weeks, as using it longer can cause odors.

Why does my Braun 790cc-7 LDE have increased consumption of cleaning fluid?
    • J
      James ToddSep 3, 2025
Increased consumption of cleaning fluid in your Braun Electric Shaver's Clean&Renew station is caused by a clogged drain. To resolve this, clean the drain with a wooden toothpick and regularly wipe the tub clean.

    Richard BoydSep 6, 2025
Why are battery segments in the display skipped with decreasing battery capacity on my Braun Electric Shaver?
    • C
      Charles SchmidtSep 6, 2025
Skipped battery segments on your Braun Electric Shaver's display, coupled with decreasing battery capacity, indicates that the foil and cutter are worn, requiring more power for each shave. Renew the foil & cutter cassette and regularly oil the shaving system, especially when cleaning with water only.

What to do if shaving parts have been changed recently but replacement symbol lights up on my Braun 790cc-7 LDE?
    • K
      Kimberly KennedySep 9, 2025
If the replacement symbol lights up on your Braun Electric Shaver even after changing the shaving parts, it means the reset button hasn't been pushed. Push the reset button for at least 3 seconds to reset the counter.
