Why does my Braun Electric Shaver battery die so fast?
    • R
      robert71Aug 15, 2025
If you notice that the battery performance of your Braun Electric Shaver has dropped significantly, it may be because the foil and cutter are worn, which requires more power for each shave. Renew the Foil & Cutter cassette. Also, if you regularly clean the shaver head with water but don't lubricate it, apply a drop of light machine oil on top of the foil once a week for lubrication.

If your Braun Electric Shaver isn't charging, wait a few minutes as charging will start automatically. The recommended ambient temperature for charging is 41 °F to 95 °F / 5 °C to 35 °C. Make sure the power supply needs to snap in and that the contacts of the shaver need to align with contacts in the Clean & Charge Station.

    • J
      Joseph SmithAug 26, 2025
A damp shaver head on your Braun Electric Shaver could be because the drying time after automatic cleaning was too short. Clean directly after shaving to allow enough time for drying. It may also be because the drain of the Clean & Charge station is clogged, so clean the drain with a wooden toothpick.

An unpleasant smell from your Braun Electric Shaver can occur if the shaver head is cleaned with water. When cleaning the shaver head with water only use hot water and from time to time some liquid soap (without abrasive substances). Remove Foil & Cutter cassette to let it dry. If cleaning doesn't start on your Braun Electric Shaver, make sure the shaver is properly placed in the Clean & Charge Station, pushing it to the rear so that the contacts align. Also, ensure the cleaning cartridge has sufficient cleaning fluid. If the display blinks red, insert a new cleaning cartridge and press the start button again. Finally, if the appliance is in stand-by mode, press the start button again.

Why is my Braun Electric Shaver's shaving performance so bad?
    • D
      Dr. Holly AdamsSep 8, 2025
A drop in shaving performance for your Braun Electric Shaver is usually because the foil and cutter are worn, so renew the Foil & Cutter cassette. Another reason could be that the shaving system is clogged. Soak the Foil & Cutter cassette into hot water with a drop of dish liquid. Afterwards rinse it properly and tap it out. Once dry apply a drop of light machine oil on the foil.

    • J
      Jessica JohnsSep 12, 2025
Increased consumption of cleaning fluid in your Braun Electric Shaver's Clean & Charge station is caused by the drain of the Clean & Charge station being clogged. Clean the drain with a wooden toothpick.
