The Braun Series 8 shaver (Type 5795) is an electric shaver designed for both wet and dry use, offering a range of features for a precise and comfortable shave.
Function Description
The primary function of the Braun Series 8 is to provide an efficient and precise shave. It features a multi-head lock (3) that allows the shaver head to be locked for a more precise shave, adapting to different facial contours. The device is equipped with a long hair trimmer (6) for pre-trimming longer hairs or styling. The on/off button (4) controls the shaver's operation.
The shaver can be used cordlessly and is suitable for cleaning under running water, as well as for use in a bathtub or shower. For safety, it must be detached from the power supply before wet use. The power supply, charging stand, PowerCase, and cleaning station should be kept dry.

- Foil & Cutter Cassette Replacement: The display includes an indicator for foil replacement. To replace the foil and cutter cassette (1), press the cassette release button (2) to detach the old cassette. Then, attach the new 83M cassette. It is recommended to replace the cassette every 18 months.
- Wet Cleaning: The shaver head needs cleaning under hot running water after each foam or gel usage. Switch the shaver on and rinse until all residues have been removed.

- Battery Replacement: The built-in rechargeable batteries can only be replaced by an authorized Braun Service center. At the end of the product's lifespan, the battery should be removed for disposal. Users can send the shaver to a Braun service center for battery removal. Disassembling the rechargeable battery independently is not recommended due to fire, electric shock, and injury risks.
- Disposal: The product contains batteries and/or recyclable electric waste. For environmental protection, it should not be disposed of in household waste but taken to electric waste collection points provided in your country.
