Occupant Seat Belts
BraunAbility recommends wheel-
chair passengers position and
buckle their wheelchair-equipped

fasten, etc.) the

occupant seat belt
before loading onto
the wheelchair lift
platform. Failure to
do so may result in
serious bodily injury
and/or property
damage.
Operation Procedure Review
BraunAbility recommends that
transit agency supervisors and
wheelchair lift attendants review
the safety precautions and
operation procedures appearing
in this manual and on lift-posted
decals with your wheelchair lift
sales representative (dealer),
before attempting lift operation.
Any questions or concerns can
be addressed by the sales rep-
resentative at that time. Oper-
ate the lift through all functions
with your sales representative
on hand to ensure the proper
use and operation of the wheel-
chair lift is understood.

professional.

should be instructed on any
special needs and/or procedures
required for safe transport of
wheelchair passengers.
