      Robert HessSep 23, 2025
To adjust the beverage level on your Brewmatic Coffee Maker, adjust the timer. Turn the timer knob clockwise to increase the beverage level and counterclockwise to decrease it. Adjust by a maximum of 1/2 reference mark per adjustment, retesting as needed. Test the timer, and clean the flow control washer and screen. Ensure the flow control washer is .25 gpm with code “CCP”. Test the incoming water pressure, ensuring it's between 30-80 psi; install a regulator if it exceeds 80 psi.

Why does my Brewmatic LA-3 Coffee Maker trip the circuit breaker?
    • M
      mia43Aug 25, 2025
Your Brewmatic Coffee Maker might be tripping the circuit breaker because too many appliances are on the same circuit, or the circuit's amperage is too low. Try using a correctly rated circuit, which may require a dedicated wall circuit. An electrician can help correct this. Also, check the coffee maker's internal wiring for issues and inspect the warmer and immersion elements for damage, replacing them if needed.

If your Brewmatic Coffee Maker heats but doesn't brew, press the start switch on automatic models to begin a brew cycle. For pour-over models, pour about 60 oz of water to start brewing. Check the reservoir and tubing for blockages. Make sure the internal wiring is correct. Inspect for loose, damaged, or overheating wires or terminals. Repair or replace wiring as necessary. Test the timer and start switch, replacing if needed (automatic models only). Clean the flow control, washer, and screen (automatic models only). Also, check any in-line water filters or shut-off valves for issues (automatic models only).
