  If your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer's engine won't start or runs rough, several issues could be the cause. Check the oil level and fill the crankcase if it's low. Clean or replace the air cleaner if it's dirty. Ensure the fuel tank isn't empty, and if the fuel is stale or has water in it, drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel. Also, make sure the spark plug wire is connected to the spark plug, and replace the spark plug if it's bad. If the fuel mixture is too rich, contact a local service facility.

  If the detergent is not mixing with the spray on your Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washer, make sure the detergent shut-off valve is in the “On” position. If it is, rotate one of the detergent shut-off valves to the “On” position. Also, check if you have a high-pressure nozzle installed and replace it with a low-pressure nozzle.
