4. Hold the vehicle shoulder
belt tightly and slide firmly
under the lock-o on the
side of the base opposite
the buckle.
Base Installation with Lap-Shoulder Belt
ü Vehicle belt is tight, not twisted, and that the base is
secure.
ü The base is secure when it moves less than 1 inch (2.5
cm) front-to-back or side-to-side at the vehicle belt
path.
ü Recline angle is correct and confirm that the entire red
marker is completely visible between the two lines on
the recline angle indicators.
