Function Description:

The Big Blue Party 360 serves as a versatile audio speaker, capable of connecting to various devices and networks to deliver sound. Its primary function is to play audio content, whether streamed over Wi-Fi using Chromecast built-in, connected via Bluetooth®, or through an Aux In cable. The speaker is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, offering flexibility in its placement and application.

Usage Features:

Powering On/Off:

To turn the Big Blue Party 360 on, simply press the POWER BUTTON. The LED ring will illuminate, indicating the unit is active. To power off the speaker, press the POWER BUTTON again. The speaker will automatically enter a low power mode if no audio is streaming in Wi-Fi, Aux, or Bluetooth® mode. After 60 minutes of inactivity in these modes, it will automatically turn off to conserve battery.

Charging:

The speaker is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery. To charge, connect the adapter's connector to the DC IN PORT on the back of the speaker and plug the adapter into an electrical outlet. The CHARGING LED INDICATOR will be RED while charging and will turn off once fully charged. For first-time use, it is recommended to charge the speaker for at least 5 hours. The speaker can be used while charging. When the battery is low, the CHARGING LED INDICATOR will flash RED.

Chromecast Built-in Streaming:

Chromecast built-in allows you to stream audio from Chromecast-enabled apps on your mobile device over a Wi-Fi network.

  1. Setup: After setting up the Big Blue Party 360 in the Google Home app, tap the Cast button in any Chromecast-enabled app and select "Big Blue Party 360" from the list of available devices. Note that it may take a few minutes for the speaker to appear as an available device. If it doesn't appear, refresh or restart the app.
  2. Wi-Fi Mode Indication: When streaming via Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi MODE LED INDICATOR will be solid white.
  3. Audio Streaming Indication: When audio is actively streaming, the Wi-Fi STATUS LED INDICATOR will be solid green. If audio is not streaming, this LED will flash green.
  4. Volume Control: Use the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons on the speaker to adjust the volume. The VOLUME LEVEL LED INDICATORS will display the current volume level.

Grouping Speakers with Chromecast Built-in:

Multiple Big Blue Party 360 speakers can be grouped together to stream the same audio content simultaneously.

  1. Connection: Ensure each speaker is connected to the same Wi-Fi network through the Google Home app.
  2. Group Creation: In the Google Home app, tap the menu icon on a set-up speaker and select "Create Group."
  3. Speaker Selection: Choose at least two speakers for the group and assign a name.
  4. Saving: Tap "Save."

  3. Pairing Confirmation: Once connected, the LED RING will become solid, and the BLUETOOTH® MODE LED INDICATOR will flash white to confirm successful pairing.
  4. Streaming Indication: When audio is streaming via Bluetooth®, the BLUETOOTH® MODE LED INDICATOR will be solid white. If audio is not streaming, it will flash white.
  5. Volume Control: Use the VOLUME + and VOLUME - buttons on the speaker to adjust the volume. The VOLUME LEVEL LED INDICATORS will show the volume level.
  6. Canceling Pairing: To cancel pairing mode, simply wait for the 120-second timeout, after which the LED RING will return to solid, and the unit will remain on.

Aux In Connection:

For devices without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth®, the speaker can be connected using a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm Aux In cable (not included).

  1. Cable Connection: Plug one end of the cable into your audio device and the other end into the AUX IN port on the Big Blue Party 360.
  2. Aux Mode Indication: When using Aux In, the Wi-Fi STATUS LED INDICATOR will be solid yellow.
  3. Audio Control: Control music playback and volume directly from your audio device or using the speaker's volume controls. Note: If the speaker is not connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Wi-Fi STATUS LED INDICATOR will continuously flash white, indicating readiness for Google Home app connection. Audio will still stream through the AUX IN connection.

  1. Update Indication: During an update, the Wi-Fi STATUS LED INDICATOR will pulse orange.
  2. Update Completion: After the update, the Wi-Fi STATUS LED INDICATOR will turn solid red for a few seconds, then pulse white for a few seconds, and may turn off as the speaker reboots.
  3. Ready to Cast: Once booting is complete, the Wi-Fi STATUS LED INDICATOR will be solid yellow (Aux mode), indicating the speaker is ready to Cast.
