the adjusting scr ew f) to adju st the
b utt on cl amp pr essure unt il it is so re·
duc ed that it can just hold the work
when the work is lightly pulle d.
After the ad ju stment. l ock th e adju s ting
sc rew 8 with the adjusting sc r ew 0 .
(I) When the needle fa ll s to the low es t position. the high est
of th e four nee dle bar reference lin es will be flu sh with
the bott om end of the needle bar lower bushing 0 .
(2 ) Rem ov e the face plate, l oo sen th e n ee dle bar ho lder
scr ew f) .. and rai se or l ower the needle ba r ~ as app r o·
priate.

(2) Open the lo op er co ver, l oo sen the sc rew 0 . and tu rn
the looper s ha ft f) until th e. tip of the looper is in line
with
the center of the needle.
