Connection to a PC
1) Download the ZIP file from our website and unzip the file.
2) Double-click on "setup.exe" -> Activate the installer
3) Follow the instructions on the screen.
4) After the installation, restart the PC.
1) Connect the printer and PC via a USB2.0 cable.
TIPS
When putting the USB cable and LAN cable
together, use "P.6 Cable clamp".
2) Once the next screen appears, the driver is automatically
installed through the steps of [Skip obtaining driver software
from Windows Update] -> [Yes]
TIPS
This screen may prompt more than once.
And this also may require several minutes to
complete.
We recommend you to set "Brother GTX-4" or
"Brother GTX-4 FileOutput" as the default
printer for your convenience.
TIPS
Although the description of this section is based on operation with Windows, you can also use Macintosh.
For details, please refer to "For Macintosh Instruction Manual".
