Over-trimming increases engine RPM
while decreasing speed. The best trim
setting is when the highest speed is
achieved with the lowest engine RPM.

tilt support lever.
1. Tilt the outboard UP using the trim/
tilt switch.
2. Flip the tilt support lever down.
Lower the outboard until the sup-
port lever rests solidly on the stern
brackets.
