IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
To ensure long and satisfactory use of your gas detector, use it with the following precautions in mind:
• To avoid premature deterioration of the sensor, we recommend that you do not try to activate the sensor with lighters,
alcohol, detergents, sprays of any kind, cleaning vapours, silicone substances, insecticides, etc., as these may render the
system ineffective.
• For cleaning the device, it is recommended to use a damp cloth without detergents etc..
• Do not get it wet.
• The detector is not waterproof, if immersed in water or exposed to high levels of humidity it may be seriously damaged.
• Do not drop it.
• Impacts or falls during transportation or installation may damage the device.
• Avoid sudden changes in temperature.
• Sudden fluctuations in temperature can cause formation of condensation and the detector may not function properly.
• Above a temperature of + 40°C (104°F) the detector may become very sensitive, causing false alarms.
Cleaning: never clean the unit with chemicals, solvents or alcohol to avoid damaging the unit. If necessary clean with a damp cloth.
ALARM RELAY CONNECTION
An alarm relay with which the 3-SICUR device is equipped can be used for solenoid valves, sirens and any other alarm
signalling or resolution device.
