What to do if my Brute YTL-014-441 Log Splitter engine stalls under low load?
- VvictoriaallisonAug 5, 2025
If the engine on your Brute Log Splitter stalls under low load, it could be due to blocked hydraulic lines or a blocked control valve. Try flushing and cleaning the splitter's hydraulic system. Another cause may be that the engine control is out of adjustment, so try adjusting the idle control nuts. Also, the engine might be loaded during idle down mode, so use a shorter log length (26” or less) to allow the engine to speed up before contact.
