4. Route thermost at wi r es through large hole in mounti ng base. Level mounting
base against wall (f or aesthetic val ue only— t her mos t at need not be level for
proper operation) and mark wall through four mounti ng hol es. To avoid uni n-
tended bending of wall plate plast i c, all four screws and anchor s must be used.

5. Drill four 3/16- in. mounting holes in wall where marked.
6. Secure mounting base to wall with four screws and anchors provided. To
avoid unintended bending of wall plate plast i c, all four screws and anchors must
be used. Make sure all wires extend through hole in mounting base.
