What to do if Bryant Thermostat repeatedly tries to turn on using 4 wires?

If your Bryant Thermostat connected with 4 wires (R, G, W, Y) causes your air conditioning or heating equipment to repeatedly attempt to turn on without success, it might be due to insufficient power sharing. To resolve this, connect a 270 ohm, 10 watt power resistor at the furnace as illustrated.
