Add / Delete Smoke Detector
The BT Home Monitor Smoke Detector alerts
you if smoke is detected in your home. It will
sound a high-pitched alarm to warn anyone
inside the property, and send an alert via your
BT Home Monitoring system to all your contacts
simultaneously.
The Smoke Detector has an anti-tamper device,
so if the cover is removed while the BT Home
Monitor system is switched on, a TAMPER
message will be sent to alert you.
To install a Smoke Detector via the Control
Panel, please follow the instructions for adding
a sensor, at the start of this section.
Please note we recommend Smoke Detectors
are defined as FIRE and that the CHIME function
is disabled.
