MOWER GEARBOX LUBRICATION
The gearbox should be filled with SAE90 oil to the bottom of the level plug when
shipped. Check the mower gearbox before using and at regular intervals
(approximately every 40 hours). See that the oil level is maintained. On the mower
gearbox the vent plug also acts as the fill plug.
MOWER SPINDLE LUBRICATION
Use a high temperature grease for all applications. The mower deck wheel spindles
have a grease nipple in the sleeve welded to the ends of the axle and in the wheel hub.
These locations should receive 3 or 4 pumps of grease about every 8 hours.
