Hood Release
To open the hood, do the following:
1. Pull the hood release handle, located under the
instrument panel on the driver’s side of the
vehicle.
2. At the front of the vehicle, pull up on the center of
the hood, and push the secondary hood release to
the right.
3. Lift the hood.
4. Pull forward on the hood prop to release it from its
storage clip.
5. Put the end of the hood prop into the slot in the
underside of the hood.
Before closing the hood, be sure all filler caps are on
properly. To close the hood, do the following:
1. Lift the hood to relieve pressure on the hood prop.
2. Remove the hood prop from the slot in the hood.
3. Return the hood prop to its storage clip.
4. Let the hood down and close it firmly.
