OVERVIEW
The 270 hp Regal GS brings exhilarating sport-injected
performance, dynamic handling and unique style to the
Regal portfolio. A high-output version of Ecotec 2.0L turbo
engine, standard 6-speed manual transmission, class-exclusive
Interactive Drive Control System, Brembo front brakes,
HiPerStrut front suspension and GS-specific design features add
to its stellar sport sedan credentials. Regal GS is offered in the GS
(1SX) Equipment Group.
WHAT’S NEW
• Exclusive performance features: High-output 270 hp Ecotec
2.0L turbo engine; Interactive Drive Control System with GS
mode; HiPerStrut front suspension; high-performance brakes
with Brembo front calipers; standard 19" wheels; and available
20" wheels with summer-only performance tires.
• Regal GS features specific racing-inspired exterior styling cues
and interior appointments that help differentiate it from other
Regal models.
TOP FEATURES
1. Sport-injected, turbocharged performance – Drivers will
feel a satisfying adrenaline surge when they engage the
throttle on the GS. The high-output version of 2.0L Ecotec
turbocharged 4-cylinder creates greater boost pressure,
producing 270 hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque.
2. Class-exclusive Interactive Drive Control System (ICDS) –
Driver-selectable modes—Standard, Sport and GS—let
you tailor handling response. The settings adjust suspension,
steering and shifting (automatic transmission only). GS
mode, offered only on Regal GS, is the most assertive, with
enhanced performance-oriented character.
3. Sport performance suspension – Unique suspension
components heighten handling dynamics on the GS.
The HiPerStrut front suspension reduces torque steer.
Continuously Real-Time Damping Control changes damper
characteristics for optimal ride control on varying road
surfaces. Large disc brakes and Brembo front calipers help
reduce stopping distances.
4. Racing-inspired styling – Exclusive design cues visually
express the performance capabilities you find under the hood.
Exclusive appointments include specific 19" wheels, available
20" wheels, unique front and rear fascias, rear spoiler
extension, a 3-spoke steering wheel, sport pedals, sport
bucket seats, satin-finish trim accents and a GS-black interior.
5. Standard personal technologies and luxury – Connect to the
vehicle, to your infotainment favorites or to your cell phone.
Luxury comes standard with Bluetooth, USB, EZ Key passive
entry, Push Button Start, Universal Home Remote, front and
rear Ultrasonic Parking Assist, Remote Vehicle Starter System
(automatic transmission only) and the 336-watt 9-speaker
harman/kardon audio system.

• Front fascia and grille styling – GS features an exclusive front
fascia that incorporates prominent, vertical air intake slots and
grille accents in a satin-metallic finish.
• Rocker panel extensions – Body-color lower rocker moldings
provide another styling difference and contribute to the GS’
racing-inspired details.
• Rear spoiler extension – Standard.
• Integrated fascia exhaust outlets – Unique dual stainless
steel trapezoidal exhaust outlets in a satin-metallic finish are
integrated into the rear fascia.
• Height and stance – Regal GS has a slightly lower ride height
than other Regal models, giving it a more performance-
oriented stance.
• GS-black interior and accent materials – The GS-specific
Black interior is accented with satin-finish elements on the
instrument panel, steering wheel and console. The instrument
panel backlighting also changes from Ice Blue to White when
the driver engages the GS mode of the Interactive Drive
Control System.
• Sport bucket front seats – Include driver and front passenger
heated 8-way power seats with 4-way power lumbar, heat
controls and firm bolstering. Standard.
• Ebony leather-appointed seating – Standard.
• 3-spoke leather-wrapped sport steering wheel – A racing-
inspired, flat-bottom steering wheel is standard. Includes
integrated audio and cruise controls.
